Sortbase is a Chrome extension that gives ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok one shared folder tree, keyword search across the chats you file, a prompt library that follows you between models, and one-click transfer of a whole conversation from one model to another. It is built by Sortbase LLC, a two-person company in Austin, Texas, and costs $10 a month or $100 a year after a 7-day trial (card required).

The story in three sentences
Two people who used ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini all day for corporate work kept losing their own conversations across three sidebars, so they built one folder tree that sits inside all of them. It grew to add search by what was said and a button that sends a whole thread to another model when the first one hits a usage limit, a refusal or a knowledge cutoff. Sortbase grew to about 20,000 accounts with no marketing, and most of its paying users use more than one AI.
